Bollenbeck, Wagener, Spaude & Fyfe, S.C. is an established law firm whose lawyers have served Appleton and the Fox Valley since 1953. Founded by Edward "Bucky" Bollenbeck, our firm has evolved into a diversified practice representing individuals and businesses throughout northeast Wisconsin and statewide.
All of our attorneys have strong local roots and are experienced lawyers with focused knowledge in different legal disciplines. Each attorney is a partner in the firm, with a vested interest in maintaining our hard-earned reputation for quality legal advice, professional integrity and personalized service.
The Perfect Size to Meet the Needs of Our Clients
In the 1980s, Rick Bollenbeck and Doug Fyfe formed the nucleus of the present firm. They were later joined by Stuart Spaude and then Andrew Wagener to provide the current scope of legal services.
Today, our areas of practice cover the spectrum, including personal injury, bankruptcy, business law, copyright and trademark law, real estate, family law, civil litigation and appeals, criminal law, estate planning, workers' compensation and Social Security disability.
We believe that our configuration of four attorneys is the ideal size. We are a full-service firm, but not "general practice" lawyers. Each partner practices in separate areas of the law, connecting clients to experienced counsel for their particular legal issue. By design, this also gives clients the direct access and continuity often lacking at bigger law firms.
The Advantage of Our Fox Valley Roots
Rick Bollenbeck grew up in Appleton, and learned the legal ropes practicing with his father. Stuart Spaude was born and raised in Green Bay, and earned his law degree at UW-Madison. Andy Wagener is a native of Sturgeon Bay and returned after law school to practice in Wisconsin. Doug Fyfe attended college in Appleton and has practiced with the firm for more than two decades. Together, the partners extend more than 80 years of combined legal experience.

We know the region, the business community and civic leaders, the Courts, opposing counsel and the temperament of northern Wisconsin juries.
